Pharmacy) received a research grant for the development of self-immolative sprays for hazard management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nigel Arnell<\/strong> (School of Mathematical, Physical &amp; Computational Sciences) received a research grant for his work on understanding the implications of a warming world on mitigation pathways.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Martin Bell<\/strong> (School of Archaeology, Geography and Environmental Science) received a research grant from the National Geographic Society for research on Mesolithic footprints, fishtraps, settlement and ecology in lowland Britain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Norbert Morawetz<\/strong> (Henley Business School) received a research grant from the London School of Economics and Political Science.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kim Watson<\/strong> (School of Biological Sciences) received a research grant from NPZ UK Ltd for treatments for liver disease and type II diabetes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arlene Astell<\/strong> (School of Psychology &amp; Clinical Language Sciences) received a research grant from ESRC as part of the Healthy Ageing Catalyst Awards 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weizi Li<\/strong> (Henley Business School) has received a research grant from the Health Foundation for research on virtual healthcare support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carol Wagstaff<\/strong> (School of Agriculture, Policy &amp; Development) has received a funding grant from the Agriculture Horticulture Development Board for research on herbs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simon Andrews<\/strong> (School of Biological Sciences) has received funding from Folium Food Science Ltd for reducing multiple-drug resistance in foodborne bacteria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Danny Feltham<\/strong> (School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences) received a NERC research grant for research on arctic sea ice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Helen Dacre<\/strong> (School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences) received a research grant from the research Council of Norway for research on cyclones and storm tracks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Julia Rodriguez Garcia<\/strong> (School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy) received funding from BBSRC for enzymatic treatments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keshavan Niranjan<\/strong> (School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy) received a BBSRC funding for AI approaches to foody systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tristan Quaife<\/strong> (School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences) received a research grant from the European Space Agency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rich Harrison <\/strong>(School of Psychology &amp; Clinical Language Sciences) received a research grant from Varian Medical Systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jenny Chamarette<\/strong> (School of Arts and Communication Design) will be mentoring Gaylene Gould who was awarded the Clore Foundation Fellowship and will be based at Reading during the fellowship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andy Turner<\/strong> (School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences) received a NERC research grant for research on monsoons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachel Mairs<\/strong> (School of Humanities) received the CBRL Residential Fellowship 2022 for Dragomans, archaeology and tourism in late Ottoman and mandate Palestine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Graham Clarkson<\/strong> (School of Agriculture, Policy &amp; Development) received a research grant from GIZ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/strong> (Institute of Education) received a research contract from the Education Development Trust for Systematic literature review on effective primary mathematics for teaching and learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John Brazier<\/strong> (School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy) received a Leverhulme Trust research grant for his work on DNA structures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pier Luigi Vidale<\/strong> (School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences) received a NERC research grant for his work on hurricane risk amplification and natural disasters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai<\/strong> (Institute of Education) received a British Academy research grant for improving mathematical talk of Key Stage 2 children through co-creating mathematical story picture books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biao Mi<\/strong> (Henley Business School) received a research grant from the British Academy for work on the effect of joint and shared audit in the syndicated loan market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily West<\/strong> (School of Humanities) received a research grant from the British Academy for her work on enslaved women in antebellum South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arpita Bose<\/strong> (School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences) received a research grant from the British Academy for work on Cross-linguistic Investigation of Agrammatism in Speakers of South-Asian Languages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leo Townsend<\/strong> (School of Humanities) was awarded a British Academy Fellowship for work on the pragmatics and politics of group speech.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Glyn Barrett<\/strong> (School of Biological Science) received funding from the Royal Horticultural Society for research into root rot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bob Rastall<\/strong> (School of Chemistry, Food &amp;
