Researchers at the University of Reading have had more funding success with awards from research councils and learned societies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Therese Callus (School of Law) was awarded a research grant from The MPS Foundation examining the understanding of patients’ relatives’ role in ICU decision-making: how the Mental Capacity Act can lead to better outcomes for patients, their families, and health care professionals.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Mittaz (School of Mathematical Physical & Computational Sciences) received a research contract from SPASCIA for Satellite Data Analysis for Historic Satellite Data for SPASCIA.<\/p>\n

Jeff Cole (Meteorology) received a research contract from the Met Office for LFRic-XIOS Integration.<\/p>\n

Jaime Lindsey (School of Law) received a research grant from ESRC for Mediation of Medical Treatment Disputes: A Therapeutic Justice Mode.<\/p>\n

David Brayshaw (School of Mathematical Physical & Computational Sciences) received a studentship from STFC for STFC Reading 2023 DTP.<\/p>\n

Ricardo Grau Crespo (Chemistry, Food & Pharmacy) was awarded a research grant from the British Council for the concept development and network building for green hydrogen via thermochemical route.<\/p>\n

Susanna Cogo (School of Biological Sciences) was awarded a research grant from Alzheimers Research UK for increasing knowledge and understanding of the diseases that cause dementia.<\/p>\n

Eric Newton (School of Agriculture, Policy & Development) was awarded a research grant from Gen Foundation for PROMO: The Effect of PRocessing On Milk Iodine.<\/p>\n
