Complex interactions between the resident bacteria in the gut and the host nervous system constitute one of the frontier areas of neuroscience. In the tenth anniversary meeting of Reading Emotions, we are delighted to welcome leading researchers from across the world to discuss how these interactions might be relevant for the study of emotions.<\/p>\n
