The Research Software Engineering (RSE) Group provides training in coding skills across the University and is open to all staff and students. This will cover topics such as coding basics, languages and best practice. We anticipate to provide more and more sessions in the near future, so watch this space! Unix Basics – This workshop teaches the foundations of Unix/Linux computing. Lectures and practical tutorials introduce the most common commands and fundamental stepping stones into the Unix/Linux world.
The Academic Computing Team also runs training on the use of their systems. ACT training sessions are open to all staff and students.
