Freelancer Experience Workshop – Creating Positive Change

The workshop brought together together researchers, advocates and industry professionals to create sustainable interventions that meet the challenges experienced by freelancers in the UK’s screen industries. The workshop resulted in the project’s flagship 2025 report Freelancers: Building Workforce Resilience for Growth in the Film and Television Industries.

Online Forums

We provided ninety-minute sessions structured as a welcoming space for freelancers to discuss the challenges they face, the resources they need and how best to work with researchers to achieve these.
