Grounded in the lived experience of people working in the industry now, the project shines a light on opportunities to secure the UK screen industries for the future, for everyone.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project is carrying out 40 in-depth interviews with professionals in different departments of film and television production, at different grades\/organisational levels, and in independent, commercial and broadcast sectors. This includes freelancers who make up a significant part of the workforce.<\/p>\n

The interviews will form an ‘oral history of now’ that represents a crucial evidence base of lived experiences in the industry, forming a strong foundation for change creation where it is needed most.<\/p>\n

The archive of anonymised testimony will be made available to screen industry researchers<\/a>, helping to expand UK research expertise in film and television sectors, and the contexts in which they operate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
