{"id":235,"date":"2022-06-15T04:51:10","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T03:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/sparc-ga2022\/?page_id=235"},"modified":"2022-06-15T06:36:49","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T05:36:49","slug":"general-overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/sparc-ga2022\/general-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"GA Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>General Overview<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">SPARC (Stratosphere- troposphere Processes And their Role in Climate), a core project of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcrp-climate.org\/\">World Climate Research Programme<\/a>, coordinates international research related to atmospheric variability and prediction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Physical hub and attendance<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Overall there will be three locations (USA, UK and China) where the conference will be held. We expect around 100 people attending the conference in person at each hub.
