{"id":256,"date":"2023-01-19T14:47:46","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T14:47:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/speech-language-communication-development\/?p=256"},"modified":"2023-01-19T14:51:21","modified_gmt":"2023-01-19T14:51:21","slug":"pact-ds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/speech-language-communication-development\/pact-ds\/","title":{"rendered":"PACT-DS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;257&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>What is the project about? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PACT-DS aims to adapt the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.manchester.ac.uk\/pct\/\">Parents and Children Together (PACT)<\/a> early language teaching programme specifically for parents and children aged 3-6 years old with Down syndrome.<\/p>\n<p>The adapted programme (PACT-DS) will be evaluated to test its effectiveness. This is an ESRC-funded project that started in August 2022 and runs until December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>You can find out more about the PACT-DS project on the project website <a Burgoyne and Kirstie Hartwell (University of Manchester) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/pcls\/staff\/vesna-stojanovik\">Vesna Stojanovik<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/pcls\/staff\/emma-pagnamenta\">Emma Pagnamenta<\/a> (University of
