DEEP comprises 14 games that are integrated into an overarching storyline aimed to maximise a child&#8217;s attention and engagement with the tool. This tool was developed by the teams at <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/stream\/sangath\/\">Sangath<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/stream\/harvard-university\/\">Harvard University<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>DEEP was conceptualised through an inter-disciplinary team comprising neuroscientists, clinicians (paediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists), public health experts, data scientists and a game design agency. DEEP has been found to be highly acceptable to children and their families and feasible for delivery by trained non-specialists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1080\/16549716.2018.1548005\">(Bhavnani et al., 2019)<\/a>. DEEP has shown to be able to predict child performance on the cognitive domain of a gold-standard developmental assessment tool <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fpsyg.2020.01202\/full\">(Mukherjee et al., 2020)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-w5f6870f43fa52-0-1\"
