[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Megumi Morisaki is an actor, President of the Association of\u00a0“Arts Workers Japan<\/a>” with a membership of 52,000 of arts and entertainers workers, and president of the\u00a0Nationwide Centre of Arts Workers\u2019 Accident Compensation Insurance<\/a>. She is a part-time teacher at\u00a0Kyoritsu Women’s University<\/a> and a member of\u00a0the Council<\/a> of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. She has acted in leading or supporting roles in\u00a0more than 30 films and TV dramas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Megumi Morisaki is active in the\u00a0#MeToo movement, which is developing belatedly in Japan, and in 2023 has undertaken surveys\u00a0on harassment, workplace accidents, health and safety, and AI for 26,891 creative practitioners. This revealed more than 2,000 cases of damages: Japanese freelance Arts and Entertainments\u00a0workers had no\u00a0legal protection at all. In 2021, Megumi Morisaki requested and obtained from the government\u00a0a Special Safety Net Insurance. She also campaigned to improve the problem that\u00a095.4% of Arts and Entertainment Workers\u00a0in Japan could not form their outsourcing contracts.
