The Talk-Rich Teaching Toolkit was the product of a collaborative research project between Naomi Flynn and Hampshire\u2019s Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service. Its purpose is to provide schools with a resource that supports a positive mindset towards use of oracy education in the classroom.[\/vc_cta][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_cta h2=”The Talk-Rich Teaching Project” add_button=”bottom” btn_title=”Learn more” btn_color=”primary” btn_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fresearch.reading.ac.uk%2Ftalk-rich-teaching%2Four-research%2Fproject%2F|title:The%20Talk-Rich%20Teaching%20Toolkit|target:_blank”]\"teacher<\/p>\n

The Talk Rich Teaching project ( 2021 \u2013 2022) focused on raising the attainment of multilingual pupils in mainstream primary school classrooms. We used an adapted form of The Enduring Principles of Learning to train and coach teachers in four linguistically diverse schools over six months.<\/p>\n
