In-Person Workshop: Interventions to deliver a transformed food system
University of Reading (Whiteknights Campus)
Meadow Suite, Park House

Thursday 14 November 2024, 10:50 – 16:30

Attend the launch of our draft report on regulatory tools for transitioning the UK food system to a more healthy and sustainable footing. We hope it will be both an informative event as well as one offering networking opportunities with many of the key people working in this space from the campaigning sector, academia, industry and beyond.

The report relates to work done within Work Package 3 (Legal and Regulatory) as part of the project ‘Realigning UK Food Production and Trade for Transition to Healthy and Sustainable Diets’ , commissioned under the UKRI Transforming UK Food Systems Programme (TUKFS). The main aim of the event we will be hosting at the University of Reading, on 14 November 2024 (10.50am to 4.30pm, Meadow Suite at Park House) is to inform stakeholders of the outcomes of our research which addresses the second of two main questions which the project is examining: (1) the changes in dietary consumption, food production and trade patterns required for a transition to healthy and sustainable diets (HSD); and (2) the interventions needed to deliver this transformed food system.

Register by 30th October on our Eventbrite Link.
