We use a mix of research methods, collaboration, and sector engagement to create evidence that informs real change.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>Understanding Women\u2019s Experiences in Academia<\/h3>\n<p>We survey all training participants before and after their workshops. Building on our previous work, the questionnaire now includes recognised measures that help us understand:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>women\u2019s participation in research<\/li>\n<li>involvement in leadership activities<\/li>\n<li>employability and career development<\/li>\n<li>overall career capital<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This allows us to measure progress and identify where support is most needed.<\/p>\n<h3>Listening to Stakeholders and Shaping Policy<\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the project, we meet and interview key figures across higher education to better understand the challenges and opportunities surrounding women\u2019s leadership.<br \/>\nWe share emerging findings through networking events and a policy brief outlining:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>barriers to women\u2019s leadership<\/li>\n<li>practical actions institutions can take<\/li>\n<li>policy recommendations for creating meaningful, sustainable change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Creating National Dialogue<\/h3>\n<p>We host online roundtable events to open conversations across the sector. These sessions raise awareness about the value of women\u2019s leadership\u2014especially in STEM and other underrepresented fields\u2014while encouraging collaboration and shared solutions.<\/p>\n<h3>Sharing Insights Across the Sector<\/h3>\n<p>Using staff mobility opportunities, we present our findings and policy recommendations to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>senior leaders at partner universities<\/li>\n<li>representatives from Ukraine\u2019s Ministry of Education<\/li>\n<li>organisations involved in gender equity initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our long\u2011established links through the UoR\u2013NUBiP partnership help us reach influential stakeholders across Ukraine.<\/p>\n<h3>Supporting Women\u2019s Career Development<\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the project, we actively identify and promote opportunities for women academics to build their careers. <span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">We also leverage wider UoR\u2013NUBiP collaborations to share resources, open doors, and support women\u2019s progression into leadership roles.
