Do contact us at <a href=\"mailto:uor-nhm-partnership@nhm.ac.uk\">uor-nhm-partnership@nhm.ac.uk<\/a> if you have any questions or would like some support setting up a collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/crocus-dla.ac.uk\/\">CROCUS DLA<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>CROCUS (NERC <strong>Climate System and Biodiversity Science<\/strong> for <strong>C<\/strong>hallenges, <strong>R<\/strong>isks, and <strong>O<\/strong>pportunities &#8211; <strong>C<\/strong>ollaborating in <strong>U<\/strong>nderstanding and <strong>S<\/strong>olutions), led by UoR and Swansea University, is training a new generation of environmental scientists to address the most pressing challenges facing society.<br \/>\nProjects advertised by the DLA span multiple disciplines and research areas, including: Atmospheres, Oceans and Aquatics, Cryosphere, Ecology and Biodiversity, Hydrology and Soils.<br \/>\nSee <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/crocus-dla\/projects-for-2025-entry\/\">a list of current opportunities<\/a> on the website.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/foodbiosystems\/\"><strong>FoodBioSystems DTP<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>The BBSRC-funded <strong>FoodBioSystems<\/strong> DTP brings together six universities to develop a cohort of bioscientists with in-depth knowledge and technical expertise of food systems and biological processes across the Agri-Food system from pre-farm to post-fork. They will become the urgently needed experts &#8211; able to transform the food value chain and address challenges of sustainability, efficacy, authenticity and safety in food production systems whilst delivering better nutrition and concomitant health benefits for society.<br \/>\nSee <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/foodbiosystems\/apply-for-a-foodbiosystems-phd\/for-phd-students-2\/\">a list of current opportunities<\/a> on the website.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/ai-intervene\/\">AI-INTERVENE DTP<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>AI-INTERVENE (<strong>AI for Unlocking Datasets for Biodiversity Assessment and Prediction<\/strong>) is a revolutionary new NERC-funded doctoral training programme equipping the next generation of environmental scientists with the AI and data science tools, ecological knowledge and wider interdisciplinary skillset to unlock the full potential of biodiversity data, creating actionable data to inform and enact change.<br \/>\nSee <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/ai-intervene\/apply\/\">a list of current opportunities<\/a> on the website.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/mfccdt.ac.uk\/\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">MFC CDT<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The EPSRC <strong>Centre for Doctoral Training on the Mathematics for our Future Climate: Theory, Data, and Simulation<\/strong> is a dynamic and interdisciplinary PhD programme that harnesses the power of mathematics to address the urgent issues presented by climate change.
