Brief Description:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The aim of the Social Value Toolkit is to gather evidence of the impact of design on wellbeing and to ensure that Social Value takes its rightful place alongside other types of Value in policy and procurement.<\/p>\n

The vision for the SVT came from the Research Practice Leads group, a group of research leaders in architectural practice facilitated by the School of Architecture in the University of Reading and has been developed with input from representatives from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), New Economics Foundation (NEF), Assael Architecture Ltd, HTA Design LLP, Atkins Global, ARUP, Collective Co-Living and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Its findings will feed into the UK Centre for Collaborative Housing Evidence (CACHE). The SVT is being piloted in a parallel Newton Funded project in the Philippines, Mapping Eco-Social Assets.<\/p>\n
