The UK-based team visited the Great Diary Project in the Bishopsgate Institute, East London. We met with diary archivist Dr Polly North to discuss in more detail the available material and how to access it before commencing with our work.
Dr Schmüser met online with staff from the German Diary Archive to discuss organisational and initial access matters. She will begin visiting and working in the archive in early December.
