Introduction

Women play a crucial role in tackling the challenges posed by climate change, yet they remain underrepresented in leadership positions related to this critical issue. Women’s leadership involves their active participation and influence in decision-making processes, initiatives, and strategies that shape societal, economic, and environmental outcomes. This study aims to explore the challenges women face in leadership roles within climate action initiatives in Kenya and to identify the key stakeholders involved in these efforts.
