Myself k.chandra bhanu, completed graduation in B.SC(Agriculture) from Agra university. At present, I’m working as Natural farming fellow(NFF) in APZBNF project undertaken by RYSS, GOVT. OF ANDHRA PRADESH in collaboration with UNIVERSITY OF READING(UOR),LONDON since January 2019.I have done UOR EXPERIMENT on radish (kharif 2019).
\nThis experiment is designed to examine differences between conventional farming,organic farming and ZBNF. Particularly the effects they have on soil properties.<\/p>\n

KEY LEARNINGS :
\n1) SOIL SAMPLING and LAYOUT of experimental plots<\/p>\n

2) I have learned key properties of soil science practically by taking weekly readings and measurements which includes:
\nI) SOIL PH
\nII) SOIL TEMPERATURE
\nIII) SOIL TEXTURE
\nIV) SOIL MOISTURE
\nV) BULK DENSITY
\nVI) EARTHWORM COUNT
\nVII) INFILTRATION RATE etc.<\/p>\n

3) I have learned, taking Biometric readings i.e Plant height, root depth,length of bulb and other measurements regarding plant growth in the respective ZBNF, organic conventional plots.<\/p>\n

KEY OBSERVATIONS :<\/p>\n

1) Early germination was observed in ZBNF plots when compared to organic and conventional plots.<\/p>\n

2)Growth and yield of crop was higher in conventional plots followed by organic and ZBNF.<\/p>\n
