BEL gave a strong presence in yet another successful Visit Day for Biomedical Engineering. During the Visit Day, prospective students interacted with BEL researchers and had the opportunity to discover more about the research that goes on in the lab through discussions and interactive demos. The demos concentrated on the use of muscle signals to control a robot in a simulated environment in real-time, motion coordination in a virtual environment through haptic feedback, and a robotic module for movement support. Thank you to Maitreyee (left), Xinzhe (right) and Nicolas who shared their enthusiasm for their research through the demos and discussions with the visitors. Thank you also to those who visited us, it was a pleasure to meet you all and we hope to be seeing you in the next academic year!
