David spoke on a roundtable organised by Innovation for Agriculture at the Agri-Tech 4.0 conference.
He wondered whether we had made progress on the co-design of agricultural technology over the last several decades as we continue to find the same barriers to adoption of technology. He introduced a lively discussion on what co-design is, how to do it, how we can include farmers at the start, throughout, and share power, and what is needed from government to co-ordinate a joined-up innovation strategy.
