Dr David Christian Rose contributed to an article in The Conversation on the winners and losers of the so-called fourth agricultural revolution. Read more here.

Rose and Chivers conclude by saying:

“Instead of blind optimism, we need to identify where benefits and disadvantages of new agricultural technology will occur and for whom. This process must include a wide range of people to help create society-wide responsible visions for the future of farming. The NFU has said the fourth agricultural revolution is “exciting – as well as a bit scary … but then the two often go together”. It is time to discuss the scary aspects with the same vigour as the exciting part.”
