Evidence provided by our ESRC funded project on the co-design of new environmental land management schemes, led by Dr Ruth Little at the University of Sheffield, influenced a key recommendation in a report released by the Environmental Audit Committee this week. The recommendation asked Defra to ensure that it was using mechanisms to include ‘harder-to-reach’ land managers in the development and implementation of new policies.
