Three new post-docs – and a new PhD student

In the last month, we have been delighted to welcome several new members to the group. Dr Faye Shortland (100%) and Dr Paul Hurley (20%) start as postdoctoral researchers for a year on the ESRC project on farmer mental health. Dr Catherine Price continues her work with us for 10 weeks on a Centre for Effective Innovation in Agriculture-funded project on mapping the UK agri-tech ecosystem. Ram Dhulipala, Head of Digital Agriculture at ICRISAT, also starts a part-time PhD exploring the agri-tech ecosystem in India.

We are also pleased that Kirsten Ayris will join us in September to start a PhD on public engagement around autonomous robots in agriculture.
