Prof. Stephen Crain, director of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders at McQuarie University in Sydney Australia will be visiting Monday and Tuesday of next week (July 6 and 7). Prof. Crain’s work on first language acquisition has helped to define the field. He is happy to meet with colleagues and will be giving a talk titled “Child language and the theory of Universal Grammar II) on Tuesday July 7 at 2PM in G79. His talk will be followed by a round table discussion on relation between psycholinguistics and linguistic theory. All are welcome.
