In 2022 I worked with the Mass Observation Archive, who seek the views of ‘ordinary’ people to understand everyday life in Britain, to co-develop a directive focused on drones. Earlier this year, I published an article about this with the Geographical Journal. My article, which is available open access here: https://rgs-ibg.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/geoj.12618, examines the 124 responses I received to the drones directive and explores how correspondents understand drone incidents and misuse.
