Dr. Billy Wong (Associate Professor in Widening Participation, University of Reading) has published a research article in the journal, Higher Education Pedagogies, with his colleague, Dr. Kate Hoskins (Brunel University). The paper is entitled, ‘Ready, set, work? Career preparations of final-year non-traditional university students’.

The paper focuses on how ‘non-traditional’ students prepare for life after university, especially on career readiness and employment, highlighting challenges of their engagement in work experiences and extracurricular activities that can strengthen their professional profile.

This article is freely available and can be accessed here.
