
EINSTEIN has formally joined the LEA Projects Cluster. The LEA Projects Cluster, led by Privanova, brings together more than 50 EU-funded security research and innovation projects to strengthen Europe’s collective capacity to address emerging security challenges. The LEA Projects Cluster contributes to addressing fragmentation in EU security research by connecting projects, researchers, law enforcement authorities, and institutional stakeholders. The Cluster enhances the visibility of available capabilities, facilitates knowledge exchange, and supports alignment between research outputs, policy priorities, and operational needs.
Having identified strong common ground with the LEA Projects Cluster’s mission to strengthen law enforcement and border authority capabilities, the EINSTEIN project is a dedicated member of this cluster. EINSTEIN brings its expertise in identity verification, privacy-preserving identity management, and document authentication to the table, actively fostering knowledge exchange, engaging with practitioners to understand real-world operational challenges, and contributing to the policy and innovation dialogue surrounding identity fraud and document forgery crimes.
