Catherine is a PDRA at Imperial College London working with Prof Colin Prentice.

My research primarily focuses on bridging global-scale carbon modeling with processes occurring at the chloroplast scale. Specifically, I work on constraining carbon fluxes into the land biosphere using satellite data. My goal is to maximize the use of satellite data by extracting relevant information and connecting it to the development needs of land surface models, enabling direct comparisons. To attain this goal I collaborate with a wide range of experts, working across scales—from global land surface model runs to model theory development—while also being involved in field and lab measurements.
