Jianpu is a PDRA at the University of Reading working on long-term transient vegetation simulations in the mid-Holocene, and his background is climate dynamics and paleoclimate modeling. Before that, he worked at the INAR and the Department of Physics, University of Helsinki since 2019, and completed Ph.D. study in 2024. His Ph.D. work investigated complex interactions among multi-scale atmospheric circulation systems and their influences on mid-Holocene hydroclimate variability.
