Ngoc Nguyen is interested in studying the linkages between vegetation, carbon, and water cycles through developing mathematical ecosystem models and using large datasets such as eddy-covariance, remote sensing.
Her current research direction focuses on how to use plant eco-evolutionary optimality theories to improve current global vegetation models.
