An interdisciplinary group of Academic Staff, Graduate Research Students, Alumni of the University of Reading and external colleagues dedicated to the study of mangrove ecosystems and how they influence human livelihoods. We want to emphasise dialogue on mangrove ecosystems but other natural coastal ecosystems are welcomed. A balance is essential in the utilisation of these resources and coastal development. The website is designed to engage discussion amongst colleagues on various approaches and strategies across disciplines.
