Researchers from the Caribbean, US and Latin America gathered for the 34th West Indies Agricultural Economics Conference held using a hybrid (online and face to face) approach in Nassau, Bahamas June 2023. The conference was organised jointly by The Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Institute (BAMSI) and the Caribbean Agro-Economic Society (CAAES).
Topics were wide ranging across Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental and Resource Economics, Natural Sciences and other fields. Our researcher Niko Howai presented some findings from his PhD on mangrove in Tobago. Pictures below display some of the activities throughout the conference.
