The Medieval Ritual Landscape project is delighted to be involved in the forthcoming joint conference between our project partner, the Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS), and the European Finds Recording Network. Taking place on 2 June 2026 at Burlington House, London, and online, the conference features a range of papers highlighting the value of public finds for study and research. Rob Webley will talk about how MeRit’s analyses of some of the multiple hundreds of thousands of medieval finds recorded through the PAS shed light on how ordinary people navigated their religious lives through objects, their materiality and decoration.

At the time of writing, registration remains open for the conference: see here. We look forward to many fruitful conversations with UK and international researchers alike!
