The Medieval Ritual Landscape team are pleased to announce a full day of conference sessions to mark the end of our three-year project – at the Leeds International Medieval Congress in July. On 8 July 2026 colleagues will gather from across Europe and join us at one of the world’s largest medieval conferences, including participants from the Netherlands, Denmark and the Czech Republic. Our overall strand for the day is entitled ‘Medieval Lived Religion: The Materiality of Everyday Religion’, and over four sessions this theme will be examined through the lenses of space, regionality, bodily experience and object biography. We look forward to a day of fruitful discussions in Leeds!
