Senior Research Scientist

Research Interests:

  • Doppler lidar - developing new retrieval techniques for turbulence, wind, and boundary layer properties
  • Integration of active (radar and lidar) and passive remote sensors to derive profiles of atmospheric properties
  • Evaluating the representation of clouds, aerosol and turbulence in numerical weather forecast and climate models

  • Fast-Physics System Testbed and Research (FASTER).
  • Biogenic Aerosol - Effects on Clouds and Climate (BAECC). ARM Mobile Facility deployment to Hyytiälä, Finland
  • High definition clouds and precipitation for advancing climate prediction (HD[CP]2).
