Primary research projects:
- Development of synergy algorithms for the EarthCARE satellite (funded by ESA and NERC)
- Development of the Speedy Algorithm for Radiative Transfer through Cloud Sides (SPARTACUS)
Postdoctoral & graduate student supervision:
- Dr Shannon Mason works on development of novel synergistic retrieval techniques for clouds and precipitation
- Sophia Schaefer (PhD student co-supervised with Christine Chiu) works on 3D cloud radiative effects and our new SPARTACUS radiative transfer scheme
