The Partnership was initiated by a ‘Resource Assessment Exercise’ completed by a post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Reading and funded through the Ardeola Charitable Trust (Humphreys 2019). Modelled on Wessex Archaeology’s Avebury Resource Assessment, this work evaluates the archaeological resource for the project area on a chronological basis and concludes by identifying priorities for future collaborative research.
