CREDS launched its first major cross-theme report, based on existing research, called Shifting the focus: energy demand in a net-zero carbon UK. The report proposes actions to strengthen and deliver the commitments in the Government’s Clean Growth Strategy.
The University of Reading led on the Flexibility chapter, which questions how ambitious the flexibility target in the Clean Growth Strategy is compared with existing studies; proposes a radically different Government approach on flexibility; and concludes by identifying three significant research gaps.
