Stories on the Move

Stories on the Move is a research project that explores how co-creation approaches and creative translation workshops can be used to develop meaningful work experience and professional skills training for languages students in schools. Working in partnership with publishers and translators we run workshops with industry professionals for Year 10 students, using co-creation and games-based learning techniques as a hands-on way for young people to learn about the journeys that stories make in translation. We draw upon research into creative translation in schools pioneered by the Stephen Spender Trust and others.
