Our very own Dr Frances Hamilton from the School of Law with support from Tahlia-Rose Virdee (PhD candidate in the School of Law here at the University of Reading) has developed a LGBTQ+ international travel toolkit. The toolkit is aimed at universities and other employers to help them devise policies and practices for LGBTQ+ staff and students who undertaking international travel. Individuals can also use the tool to check their employer’s policies and practices regarding LGBTQ+ and international travel. The tool is free to use and will be of interest to anyone who is concerned with LGBTQ+ international travel. The tool was developed with funding from Research England, allocated through the University of Reading’s Rapid Response Policy Engagement Fund.
