We are delighted to be hosting the 2nd Accommodating Diversity in the Workplace Conference at the University of Reading, UK on Tuesday 11th June 2024.  This follows on from our successful 1st Accommodating Diversity in the Workplace Conference. The conference will be hybrid so it will be possible to attend part or all of the conference online.

This interdisciplinary conference is aimed at academics, practitioners and employers interested in issues of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and their implications for workplace practice. This year topics include work-family life balance, parental leave and return to work, women’s health and the workplace, leadership in the higher education, supporting LGBTQ+ workers with international travel, please see the draft programme for more details.

There is no conference registration fee. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for those attending in person.

The conference will be hosted on our London Road Campus. For campus maps and details on reaching the London Road campus see the Visiting the University page. The London Road Campus is about a 25 minute walk from the station or a short bus ride (buses 21 and 21a)/taxi ride from the station.
