This week Amelia Hollywood, Sarah Wilson, Liza Keating, Mary Miller and Douglas Findlay delivered a session at the Marie Curie Research into Practice Conference 2026 (https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/research-and-policy/research/conference). The session was a spotlight on: Death in ED – is this good care? The session discussed the challenges and highlighted successes around caring for patients at the end of life in the Emergency Department and explored the intersectionality between palliative and emergency care.
