Our researchers, both staff and students, regularly engage with the public through outreach activities, the media and collaborations with industry and public sector organisations. As well as hosting outreach activities we also participate in various events throughout the year such as the Chelsea Flower Show and Glastonbury.
In 2015 we helped the Royal Mail create a new set of special stamps celebrating British bees
Our research has featured on several BBC programmes including Panorama, Horizon, Farming Today as well as local TV and Radio. We have several projects that aim to deliver solutions for industry needs and have PhD studentships funded by Waitrose and Sainsburys, amongst others.
