CBCP co-director Sophie Heywood has published a new article on how French and Italian feminist publishers after 1968 pioneered a new style of children’s books, inspired by radical feminist ideas on childhood and childrearing, and featuring illustrations by experimental women artists. It comes out of research Heywood carried out for the Children’s ’68 project, funded by the STUDIUM/Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellowship programme 2016/17.
