On March 10th the COEXIST team hosted our first online workshop: Maximising data from Palaeolithic bone: methods, integration and application. Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who took part, we were overwhelmed with the response of 210 participants joining from 31 countries, spanning five continents. It was great to see that the fields of study ranged from palaeoproteomics and genetics, isotopes and dating, zooarchaeology and anthropology, as well as museum curators and local government. Throughout the day we listened to talks covering a varied range of topics including chronology, taphonomy, subsistence and method advancements. Each session sparked interesting debates and collegial feedback; with the aim of keeping things accessible to all those who attended. Lastly, thank you to all of the speakers who took part! The abstracts of the presented talks can be found here.
