Second UoR-ECMWF call for PhD ideas has been advertised

We have announced the opportunity to submit ideas for the second ECMWF PhD in the series, for a start in the 2022-2023 academic year.

The forms, which are a simplified version of the Scenario DTP forms, have been distributed around the different University units. If you have not been reached, and would like to receive the forms, please write Ms Seema Mayor (s.mayor@reading.ac.uk). Forms are due back on Friday 10 December 2022.

Please note that the UoR-ECMWF scheme is reserved for UoR supervisors (and ECMWF co-supervisors), unlike the Scenario DTP scheme. Please also note that if you have already submitted a PhD idea via Scenario, and it includes an ECMWF supervisor, it may be considered after the Scenario process has been completed, so please do not re-submit the same PhD idea to this scheme.
