Dr. Billy Wong (Associate Professor in Widening Participation, University of Reading) was an invited speaker at Abertay University (Scotland) as part of their on-line staff development seminar series (2nd February 2022), and at New City College (London) as part of their on-line scholarship event (9th February 2022).

Together with co-author Dr. Tiffany Chiu (Imperial College London), Dr. Wong discussed their research on the concept of the ideal student, which unpacks what is ideally expected or desired of students in higher education.
