What is the project about?

Between 2023 and 2027, Dr. Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai will be supporting a large national charity, Campaign for Learning (CfL), to design and deliver a training programme for 200 early years providers across London so they themselves can subsequently provide a 6-week training programme to around 600 low-income parents to learn to tell mathematical stories to their pre-school child at home with the hope that this will then foster home-based mathematical talk. The project builds on Dr. Trakulphadetkrai’s MathsThroughStories.org initiative, and his British Academy/Leverhulme Trust-funded project (which focuses on using storytelling to foster maths talk at school).
