What is/was the project about?
In the summer of 2022, Dr Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai was commissioned to conduct a systematic literature review for the Education Development Trust (formerly CfBT), a large non-profit organisation with an international operation. The focus of the review was on identifying and synthesising research studies on early primary mathematics teaching strategies. The strategies were conducted by educational researchers in the sub-Saharan African region and researchers from outside that region. Dr Trakulphadetkrai identified with strategies that are thought to be relevant and appropriate for teachers and students in sub-Saharan Africa.
