Gabriel Yesuf

Gabriel is a landscape ecologist and currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Reading on the FoodSEqual project funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Strategic Priorities Fund (SPF). His research interest sits at the intersection of environmental science, biodiversity conservation and agricultural systems. He has applied spatial-explicit, process-based and scenario modelling techniques to quantify the impact of climate and land use change on biodiversity as well as on natural and managed systems. In addition, his research seeks to anticipate the adverse impact of different management strategies on agricultural systems with the aim of providing evidence-based solutions for the formulation of mitigation policies.
